We’ve been slowly building out our project studio here. Our goal: have some resources that the community at large can use. We are looking to put together gear that can be mobile and can relocate to different studios in the area to help record our friends.

Currently, we have the following gear in our stable. We are gradually swapping out the less than desirables with some top shelf stuff. Additionally, we are constantly looking for DIY projects to build out and develop on our own.

Mics

Blue Blueberry

Tab’d SM-57 (x2)

Beta 52

AT Pro-37 (x2)

MXL V6

Sennheiser e604 (x6)

Mic Pres

FMR Really Nice Preamp (2 ch)

Five Fish Audio SC-1mk3 (2 ch)

Digital

Apogee Ensemble (8ch i/o)

Apogee Duet (2ch i/o)

MacBook Pro/Logic 9

This has been more of an inventory listing post without a lot of meat. More on current projects to come in a later post.

Welcome, one and all to the modest ramblings of your’s truly. Maybe this public thing can be kept up to date this time? We shall see… Maybe this will flow a little easier. Anything’s got to be easier than the MySpace/Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr etc.

A little about me…
I write software for a living. I play drums in a couple of bands. I enjoy good design, but can’t necessarily execute it. I am involved with a couple of record labels around town…

This is a place where I hope to express my thoughts about the music scene, trends in software development and certain design aspects of life. I hope that, if nothing else, this is at least a bit entertaining…

See you next time…
